THE 15 MOVES

  1. Attention – Feet together, hands at your sides
  2. Horse Stance – Hips level with knees, back straight, arms straight
  3. Tumbler’s Lunge – Knees at right angles, arms on ears, hollow body
  4. Needle Kick – Arms and legs straight, foot pointed
  5. Crane Stance – Knee level with hip or higher, arms straight
  6. Snake Stance – Hip level with knee (or below knee for bonus), feet flat on ground, arms straight
  7. Horse Stance
  8. Jump 360 – Full turn to right landing in Horse Stance
  9. Frog Stand – 1-3 second hold
  10. Press Back – Both feet at same time
  11. Table Turn (or Bridge Twist for bonus)
  12. Floor Kong Vault – Feet between hands
  13. Mini Machaco (Valdez) – Landing facing forward
  14. Tuck Jump – Hands on shins, feet pointed, landing in lunge
  15. Shoulder Roll – Using the same side as the foot that is in front, rolling to the same side lunge, ending at Attention

10 moves in 60 seconds (Cirque has 90 seconds)

  1. Nod when judge calls name and then enter ring
  2. Nod when beginning routine
  3. Nod when ending routine
  4. Nod after receiving scores and then exit ring

Obstacle is a timed run and can incorporate acrobatic skills.

  • Chose a Division
  • Do 10 moves in 60 seconds linked together smoothly (90 seconds for Cirque)
  • Simple 10.00 point scoring system (max 8 for beginner, 9 for intermediate, 10 for advanced)
  • 0.01 deductions for Falls, Flops, Faceplants
  • 0.01 deductions for over-time, out-of-bounds, attire, repeated moves, form (bent arms/legs/feet/hands)
  • 0.01 bonuses for Speed, Power, Creativity, Big Moves
  • Rash Guards, Tanks, Shorts, Leggings
  • No leotards
  • Hair pulled back
  • No branding except team, school logo, or athletic brands
  • No baggy clothing (for safety)
  • Bare feet
